Pray Your Family Free: Let July 4th Be Your Family’s Independence Day

This July 4th, while we’re busy over the grill or swimming in the pool and basking in the sun, Christian Nibblets suggests that we take the time to also reflect on what it means to be truly free and what this means for our unsaved family and friends.

New York, NY July 3, 2007 – Christiannibblets.com extends an invitation to Christians across the nation, to join in and pray for their unsaved family and friends; particularly on this Independence Day.  “The goal is to have as many Christians as possible praying for their families to experience true freedom in Christ,” Says Christian Nibblets founder.   “I have a true passion for the lost, my family included; my desire is that when I get to Heaven and I look to my left and to my right, I will see my family and relatives there included in the body of Christ.”

As personal tragedy, terrorism, crime, and everything else the world throws at us seems to mar our very existence, Christians across the world are continually being called and urged to pray.   The great commission is not just a cute, feel good – Christianise - scripture in the Bible.  It is a serious call to action which is as relevant today as it was then.  Now it’s quite understandable that many Christians find it easier to minister to strangers or people already in the church.   Many have faced hurt, rejection and so many other types of pain inflicted by their families and friends.  “We’ve got to shake this off.  It’s so important for us to walk the talk, let our actions reflect our words, let’s get on our knees and cry out for our families and not just wish they would come to Christ.  Nothing happens until we pray.  It is through our prayers that change will manifest.”

Why July 4th?

Christians should pray everyday and one can only hope that our prayers include our families and friends.  However, July4th is the day we celebrate our independence.  It is the day we shout FREEDOM; but isn’t true freedom; freedom from sin, freedom from the enemies snare, freedom to live for Christ?  Needless to say, “Patriotism is alive in us and our hearts go out to the families and friends of those who’ve lost loved ones in service to our great nation.” Many of our solders were also Christians and a great loss to the war fought in the Kingdom of God as well as the nations.  Please submit your prayer requests to Christian Nibblets that we may join you in praying for your loved ones.
